Here’s my list of the top 10 things to do with your dog this fall
• Visit an Apple Orchard
Picking your own apples with the family is a fun activity to do in fall, so why not bring your dog along? Be sure to check with the orchard first to see if dogs are allowed.
• Go Hiking
This is a great way to enjoy all the pretty colors of fall as well as getting some exercise for both you and your dog in a new environment.
• Make a Pile of Leaves
Dogs love to run through a big pile of leaves. It’s like a dog’s version of a kid’s ball pit.
• Get a cute Halloween Costume!
• Visit the Dog Park
This is a great time of year for fun play dates at the park. Your pet can run and play to their heart’s content without you having to worry about the hot weather.
• Go Pumpkin Picking
• Walk along the Waterfront
There are many lovely scenic areas around the lake to walk with your pet. Try walking along the waterfront in Ajax or Downtown Toronto for a scenic walk both you and your pet will enjoy.
• Try Bikejoring
Does your dog never seem to tire from long walks? Do you enjoy cycling? This sport combines your dog’s love for exercise with your passion for cycling.
• Make Fall Themed treats
By visiting the pumpkin patch and apple orchard you can make some yummy apple or pumpkin themed treats for your pet!
• Visit the Pet Expo
Bring along your pet to do some fun doggy socializing while you see the dogs sports shows as well as dog-themed vendors who sell lots of yummy treats, toys, and accessories! This event will be on November 18th and 19th at the International Centre in Mississauga.
