Dr. Joudrey

I graduated in 2011 and joined West Hill Animal Clinic in 2013. An area of interest for me is in metabolic diseases although, I still like getting my feet wet in all areas! My favourite thing about the clinic is the comradely amongst the employees. We bond in our love for helping animals and their people. My first pet was Kate, a Feline Leukemia positive kitty. What I love most about my job is feeling a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I am helping animals and people live happier healthier lives. A fun fact about me is that I spent a good portion of my adolescence in an all-girls' choir. As a result, I improved from a closet shower singer to a really great shower singer!


Why does my dog’s breath smell?

Bad breath (halitosis) in a dog or cat is usually because of poor dental health.  Occasionally a dog or cat may have good teeth and still have bad breath in which case the diet is usually the cause. This is relatively rare, however, compared to the likelihood of a dental issue.
